Are you, or a student you know and love, starting the school year feeling hopeless, like there’s no way this school year is going to be any better — and in fact, may be worse — than previous years?

For students, especially for students who have different ways of learning, this feeling of defeat can be a common occurrence at the beginning of a new semester or school year.

In today’s video I share a pretty vulnerable personal story about a situation in which I often feel defeated — and a suggestion for what parents and students can do to help deal with this helpless feeling.
