Recently one of my 9th grade clients went cold turkey. Ugh. I’d thought we were rockin’ and a rollin’ with how to use her paper planner, and then as soon as second semester hit, she quit.

However, I may have just figured out how to convince her it’s a worthwhile experience after all…

In this video, I share some information about why learning more about how the brain works often motivates students to take action. I’ll share a preview of the “mini-lecture” I gave her that seemed to convince her that using some kind of planning device is important.
