It’s the beginning of the semester! How good are you at waking yourself up early in the morning?
Most of my clients rely on their alarm clocks to get them out of bed in the morning. (Some rely on their parents, but I try and nip that in the bud as soon as I hear about it). However, when you’re a student who struggles with attentional issues, sometimes you can FORGET to set your alarm. That’s no good!
Last spring one of my clients was in this situation. His parents had just committed to backing off of wake up duty, and now he was on his own! He kept on forgetting to set his alarm! What do you think I recommended? (Hint: It has to do with the word “recurring”).
