Parenting students in this day and age is so, so anxiety-provoking.
In this moment I’m thinking about all the parents of scattered students who struggle to keep up with their homework, keep track of their papers, turn their work in, and study effectively, etc. The list goes on and on.
Recently I had a client who, a month into the school year, started exhibiting all her bad habits, all at once. This freaked her mom and dad out! “Oh no, she’s going to get bad grades and won’t get into college,” they understandably worried.
In this video, I try to express some empathy for parent’s impatience while I also try to talk you down off the ledge… and focus on the ONE habit shift that might make the most difference right now.
