Is it hard to motivate yourself to do school work? Do many of the classes you’re taking feel useless?
The other day, a client asked me, “What’s the point of attending class if I don’t need it to graduate?”
I was so inspired by what we came up with that I quickly made this video. I hope it’s helpful to you!
Got any questions? Concerns? Brainstorms? I’d love to hear them!
Love the second idea since it will help the person actually take control of their own learning, broaden their horizons and opening up their minds to new creative ideas. I remember learning about physics in college. Never thought I would use it but kept up my grades. Later I found I used it a lot as a music therapist, helping students understand movement issues, mechanisms of the piano to improve performance, understanding their own body physiology and even acoustics. How exciting to receive you site. I have folks that could use it for their teenager’s questions. Looking forward to the summer program
Hi Marcia. I just saw this comment now. Nice to get to know you a little on the blog as well as via email. I LOVE knowing you’re a music therapist using physics to help students understand movement issues and body physiology. I wrote my masters thesis on the body’s role in learning, so this is a topic near and dear to my heart. So glad you joined us for the free workshop series!
