Over my years training educators how to start their academic coaching biz, I’ve noticed a common mistake being made over… and over… and over again: even though my Rock Your Biz program tells folks to focus their marketing efforts on finding solid referral partners, very few people actually do what I say!

Despite my very clear instructions, and the worksheet that walks folks through how to identify the best referral partners for them in their geographic area, the educators in my program still put their marketing attention into ramping up social media, joining Facebook groups, and more.

I’m a big believer in not blaming the student, however, and in the power of teachers taking ownership for the holes in their curriculum.

So over the last couple years I’ve been asking myself — what is missing in my Rock Your Biz instructions?

When I met Michelle Warner, and learned about her Networking that Pays course, I suddenly realized what I was missing!

My excellent worksheet tells you WHO to reach out to.

And I give some pointers for HOW to reach out to them.

But Michelle takes it a step further and provides a simple, straightforward, 5-minutes-a-day process! She even provides templates for EXACTLY what to say (though of course you need to give those templates your own unique twist to make them your own).

Her Networking That Pays system is SO GOOD, I’m incorporating it into my Rock Your Biz curriculum THIS SUMMER.

And the first step in that process is to introduce her, and the system, to everyone in my community. Totally free! May 12 at 11 a.m. EDT.

Want to hear Michelle and me chat a bit a bit about the marketing mistake academic coaches keep making, and a hint about what to do next? Watch the video below.

Her Networking That Pays system is a total game changer, and I can’t wait to share it with you…

Are you an introvert who finds networking heart-poundingly, head-throbbingly painful and  scary? Then join Michelle and me for this conversation! Michelle’s an introvert, too, and her Networking That Pays system is made especially for you!
